We follow your instructions, whether it is only taking emergency calls with live agents and using voicemail for other calls, or taking all calls live. We can call the backline for an urgent matter during lunch, or send them over when you are ready. Urgent or emergency calls may require we keep the caller on the line while we reach the on-call doctor. Or, we can text, page or email the person on call. We always follow your protocol.
